Apple has ended its interest-free financing options for new purchases of iPhones, iPads, and Macs in Canada. Starting this month, customers will now be charged APRs ranging from 4.99% to 7.99% for 12 or 24 monthly payments. Apple’s financing partner PayBright, which was acquired by Affirm in 2021, has been replaced by Affirm as the provider of financing services on Apple’s website. This change restricts Canadian customers from accessing certain financing options available in the U.S., such as Apple Card Monthly Installments and the iPhone Upgrade Program.
