The victim, Yuad, called the police after the incident and the suspect, Nuch, was found gripping the cash tightly. Nuch, who suffered from mental illness and poverty, had been receiving treatment. Yuad decided not to take legal action against Nuch, feeling sorry for her, and had already received her money back. Nuch was taken to the hospital for a medical examination to confirm her mental condition.
