Officials from the Provincial Administration Department (PAD) carried out a raid on an illegal karaoke bar in Bangkok’s Muang Thong district after receiving a complaint from an international anti-human trafficking organization. The raid resulted in the rescue of two underage girls, aged 16 and 17, who were taken to a rehabilitation center. The owner of the bar was charged with human trafficking and operating without a license.
