Canadian tourist dies on Tiger Cave climb — second death in three days

A 54-year-old Canadian man passed away while climbing the 1,260-step staircase to the summit of Tiger Cave in Krabi. Despite rescue efforts, he could not be revived due to his weight. The steep ascent of the temple has been the site of two recent deaths, including that of a 68-year-old Thai man. Visitors are urged to take precautions, especially in hot weather or if they have underlying health conditions. The man collapsed at step 1,100 and could not be saved despite CPR attempts. His death marks the second fatality at the site within three days.
