A Thai stepfather allegedly abused a three year old boy to death in Chon Buri. The Pavena Foundation for Children and Women assisted two grandmothers in filing a complaint against the stepfather, who remains at large. The boy’s mother separated from his biological father and remarried, leaving him in the care of the stepfather. The grandmother suspected abuse by the stepfather, as the boy had wounds and bruises on his body. Both grandmothers urged for a thorough autopsy, and the police promised to track down the suspect. The mother’s stance on the investigation was unclear.
