The victim transferred the money to a woman he met on Facebook, who claimed to have the money and wanted to send it to Thailand. Police arrested a suspect who denied scamming the victim, claiming his personal information was used. Further investigations were not disclosed. The scam left the victim facing financial loss and the suspect’s family struggling.
