Police in Khon Kaen have arrested a 24-year-old man, identified as Narin, for breaking into a gold shop and stealing 25,000 baht using a stolen ATM card. The crime was re-enacted at four locations, including the petrol station where cash was withdrawn, the spot where the ATM card was discarded, and the gold shop in Ban Thum subdistrict. The suspect, under financial pressure due to family circumstances, admitted to acting alone and not planning the crime. He was tracked down using CCTV footage and arrested at an internet café. Charges include night-time theft and Computer Crime Act violations.
