Kanchanaburi sting nets two Myanmar suspects in prostitution case

Police in Kanchanaburi arrested two Myanmar men on March 27 for their involvement in a prostitution arrangement network that targeted women, including a 15-year-old victim of human trafficking. The undercover sting operation was set up after receiving information about Myanmar youths bringing women into Thailand for prostitution in Nong Lu, Sangkhla Buri. One of the men, Ye, brought two girls, aged 15 and 19, to a resort where police intervened. Another suspect, Thoe, was also arrested for his role in arranging women for clients. The 15-year-old victim was separated from the case for protection. The suspects faced multiple charges related to human trafficking.
