The Lumpini Green Bridge, connecting Lumpini Park and Benchakitti Park in Bangkok, is set to open informally on May 1, 2026. The 250-meter bridge is part of a project by the Environment Department to improve the parks and provide shaded recreational space. Deputy Bangkok governor Chakkapan Phewngam visited the project site to oversee progress and ensure safety standards are met. Additionally, a new dog park was recently opened at Lumpini, transforming a former car park into a Japan-themed recreational space for pets and owners. Construction on the bridge began on May 17, 2025, and is expected to be completed by May 11, 2026.
