The Tourism Authority of Thailand projects a 6% increase in revenue compared to last year, despite concerns about the ongoing energy crisis. Approximately 500,000 foreign tourists are expected to visit during the festival, contributing to the 8.1 billion baht expected revenue from international travelers. Domestic visitors are also anticipated to increase, with Thai visitors projected to make over 5.9 million trips.
