Lionsgate has released the official trailer for “The Furious,” a Hong Kong action film directed by Kenji Tanigaki, known for his impressive work in Asian cinema. The film stars Xie Miao as Wei, a father on a relentless quest to rescue his kidnapped daughter from an international crime group, aided by journalist Navin, played by Joe Taslim. The ensemble cast includes Yayan Ruhian and Yanin Vismitananda. “The Furious” premiered at the 2025 Toronto Film Festival, gaining positive acclaim, and will be released in theaters on May 29.
