This change will enable creators to earn a portion of sales from brand partnerships and affiliate links. Eligible creators can now link up to 30 distinct products in a single Reel, with Facebook creators limited to tagging products from marketplace partners like Amazon. This update aligns Meta’s apps with platforms like TikTok and YouTube Shorts that have had affiliate shopping features for years. The change will also provide Meta with valuable data on user purchasing behavior.
