Disney+ is set to release a standalone special for The Punisher titled “One Last Kill” on May 12, co-written by star Jon Bernthal. Plot details are under wraps, but Marvel TV head Brad Winderbaum describes it as “a shotgun blast of a story.” Bernthal’s take on the character will also appear in an upcoming Spider-Man film, marking his first appearance in a movie. Other Netflix-era heroes like Daredevil and Jessica Jones are also making comebacks on Disney+. Charlie Cox reprised his role as Daredevil in “Spider-Man: No Way Home” and “She-Hulk: Attorney at Law.” Mike Colter has hinted at a return as Luke Cage.
