CAAT cuts Songkran air fares by 15% to 30% to ease travel costs

The Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT) announced that air fares on selected domestic routes will be reduced by 15 to 30% during the Songkran holiday period. This move aims to ease travel costs during one of the busiest travel peaks of the year. Despite disruptions in aviation caused by conflicts in the Middle East, direct flights between Thailand and Europe are still operational, with alternative routing options available to reduce costs. Additional capacity measures have been implemented by airlines to accommodate increased demand during the Songkran festival. Travelers are advised to plan ahead and check airline conditions for suitable fares.
