Anthropic announced that its Claude Code and Claude Cowork tools are being updated to perform tasks using your computer. The latest update will enable these AI resources to open files, use the browser, and run dev tools. The Claude AI chatbot will prioritize connectors to supported services like Google workplace suite or Slack. Initially available to Claude Pro and Claude Max subscribers on macOS, this feature will continue to be adjusted based on user feedback. It will also support use with Anthropic’s Dispatch feature for messaging the chatbot across phone and desktop in a continuous conversation. Claude Cowork was introduced in January as a version of Claude Code AI agent for more casual users.
