A Chinese man was injured after falling from the back of a pickup truck carrying a refrigerator at high speed in Rayong province. The man, about 40 years old, was found in serious condition and taken to the hospital. The accident happened when the improperly secured refrigerator fell off the vehicle onto the road as the driver increased speed. Rescuers advised the public to secure appliances properly when transporting them in pickup trucks to avoid accidents. In another incident involving Chinese nationals, a driver in Pattaya struck and killed a friend outside a hotel while tying his shoelaces.
