Lindelof previously co-wrote the controversial film The Hunt, released just before the pandemic, which sparked debate for its themes of liberals hunted by conservative elites. The film saw mixed reviews, grossing approximately $12 million against a $14 million budget, and is set to leave Peacock on May 1.
