At least 15 passengers on a pilgrimage to a temple in Prachuap Khiri Khan were injured when their chartered bus ran off the road and struck two power poles in Cha-am, within Hua Hin district. The bus was carrying 50 passengers, and 15 sustained injuries to their arms and legs. The group was traveling to make merit at Wat Tham Khao Tao when the accident occurred. An investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the crash. Traffic along Phet Kasem Road was disrupted, and authorities are working to clear the scene.
