In a series of messages on his Telegram channel, Pavel Durov has revealed that the instant messaging service is launching its own take on Stories next month. Users have been requesting this feature for years, although Telegram initially resisted due to the ubiquity of Stories on other platforms. However, Telegram has now created a more customizable version of this feature. Users can define who sees their posts, add captions and links, and even tag other people. Additionally, they have the option to choose when their Stories expire, ranging from 6 to 48 hours, or they can permanently display them on their profile page. Telegram plans to release Stories in early July.
