In “Pretty Lethal,” written by Kate Freund and directed by Vicky Jewson, five American ballerinas are thrust into a brutal fight for survival after their bus breaks down in Hungary. As they seek help from the Teremok Inn, owned by former ballerina Devora Kasimer (Uma Thurman), they encounter dangerous patrons, leading to a bloody struggle. While the film may lack depth, it shines with action-packed sequences and strong performances from its cast, especially Maddie Ziegler and Millicent Simmonds. Despite some plot weaknesses, “Pretty Lethal” delivers a thrilling, unexpectedly gruesome experience for viewers. It premieres on Prime Video on March 25, 2026.
