Wandering Planet Toys is launching a Kickstarter campaign to produce the first-ever 1/12 scale action figure of Carl Kolchak from the cult TV series “Kolchak: The Night Stalker.” The figure will feature 22 points of articulation and come with accessories like a typewriter and camera. Alongside Kolchak, a blood-spattered variant and a two-pack with his vampire foe Janos Skorzeny will also be available. An exclusive retro-style lunchbox featuring artwork from the Kolchak comic series will accompany the figures. “Kolchak” significantly influenced “The X-Files,” with creator Chris Carter casting Darren McGavin in a nod to the original character.
