After decades of working alongside one another on some of Hollywood’s biggest box office hits, Joel and Ethan Coen announced they’d be doing things differently for the foreseeable future. Joel ventured off on his own with The Tragedy of Macbeth, while Ethan explored the life of Jerry Lee Lewis and began a lesbian B-movie trilogy. Fargo, their iconic crime caper, is leaving HBO Max soon.
