The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) is seeking government support to establish Bangkok as a multinational hub. Governor Chadchart Sittipunt announced that aligning the BMA’s policy with that of the government would stimulate the city’s economy and create job opportunities. Chadchart emphasized the importance of attracting international companies to Bangkok, which would lead to job creation and benefit various local industries. The BMA is engaging with foreign investors, international business representatives, and expatriates to address their concerns. The administration plans to establish a one-stop service center hub to assist foreign investors and film crews, as well as collaborate with the Board of Investment (BoI) to promote the initiative. Chadchart expressed the desire to discuss matters such as traffic congestion and investment in rail routes with the new government.
