The vice chairman of a Tambon Administrative Organisation (TAO) in Thailand was arrested along with another individual at a petrol station in Kalasin province. The police found 216,000 methamphetamine tablets hidden in their car. The suspects deny any involvement with the drugs, but the police claim that they had been monitoring them for some time. It is believed that the drugs were intended for distribution to dealers in Khon Kaen, Roi-et, and Kalasin provinces.
