YASHIO – Japan is home to a unique subculture where a man has transformed his house into a private sex doll museum. Yoshitaka Hyodo’s “Yashio Hihokan” showcases his personal collection of “love dolls” and other erotic exhibits. His fascination with cyborgs and artificial life forms led him to collect around 50 dolls over the past 20 years. Hyodo’s dolls, mainly from Orient Industry, are known for their lifelike features and can cost around $5,000 each. Despite facing criticism and negative perceptions, Hyodo’s museum has gained international attention, attracting visitors from around the world.
