The secretary-general of Thailand’s House of Representatives has requested a delay in the government’s delivery of its policy statement to parliament. The secretary-general, Natjaree Anuntasilpa, explained that her office needs time to send copies of the policy statement to all MPs and senators, as well as provide a five-day notice for the parliamentary meeting. As a result, the preferred date for the policy statement delivery and debate is September 11th, instead of September 8th. The House and Senate whips will meet on Thursday to finalize the date for the event.
