BANGKOK (NNT) – The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) is collaborating with the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) to promote low-carbon travel routes along Bangkok’s Phadung Krung Kasem Canal. Their aim is to encourage environmentally responsible tourism and reduce tourists’ carbon footprints. As part of this initiative, TAT organized a familiarization trip for Japanese media, bloggers, and representatives from Destination Management Companies (DMCs). The trip involved an electric boat cruise from Hua Lamphong Station Pier to the historic Wat Thewarat Kunchon Worawihan temple, which is known for its murals and Buddha images from the Ayutthaya period.
