The Expressway Authority of Thailand (EXAT) has conducted a market survey on its plots of land located under and close to its elevated expressways. These 17 areas in prime business districts of Bangkok have significant potential for commercial development. The survey aims to gather perspectives from private investors, which will be consolidated into a report for review by the Ministry of Transport. The areas will be auctioned off to interested investors next year, with investment projects expected to break even within three to four years. EXAT has prepared a total of 530 plots of land for development. An additional 614 plots are scheduled for commercial development from 2027. Alongside this, EXAT has three expressway projects awaiting approval from the new cabinet.
