Phuket’s farm-to-table culinary movement will be showcased at PHIST 2023, Southeast Asia’s biggest sustainability event for the travel and hospitality sectors. Michelin-rated chefs will demonstrate how sustainability and social responsibility can be improved in Thailand. The event will feature interactive debates, discussions, and exhibitions, with keynote speakers including Banyan Tree founder KP Ho and design icon Bill Bensley. SAii Laguna Phuket will also offer attendees a showcase of world-class farm-to-fork gastronomy by highly-acclaimed chefs Rick Dingen, Xavier Charest-Rehel, and Tipaporn Phianthong. The event aims to highlight the importance of sustainable and zero-waste dining and create authentic dining experiences that support local suppliers and attract travelling foodies.
