Image via Khaosod – A woman has been arrested at Don Mueang airport in Thailand on charges of human trafficking. The woman, identified as Pechanan, promised two Thai women high-paying massage jobs in the Maldives, but instead forced them into prostitution. The victims managed to escape and sought help from the Thai embassy in the Maldives. Pechanan was arrested after an arrest warrant was issued and confessed to the charges during interrogation. This is just one example of the ongoing problem of human trafficking in Thailand.
