Kasikornbank (KBank), Thailand’s second-largest lender, is restructuring its business operations. Chongrak Rattanapian has been appointed as the new president and executive director, effective August 29. Rungruang Sukkirdkijpiboon’s appointment as co-president is awaiting approval from the Bank of Thailand. Sansana Sukhanunth will take over as executive vice president and CFO. The previous co-presidents of KBank, Krit Jitjang and Patchara Samalapa, resigned on July 31. KBank established Kasikorn Investure Co (KIV), a holding company, to provide financial services to individuals and small business entrepreneurs. The bank is revising its management team and restructuring its operations.
