Image by Zerbor. A four-year-old boy’s condition worsened after a nurse allegedly gave him the wrong adrenaline injection in Trang Province. The incident came to light after the boy’s mother shared the ordeal on social media. The boy was admitted to a private hospital but deteriorated rapidly after the injection, experiencing severe vomiting of blood and shock. He was transferred to multiple hospitals and spent 12 days in intensive care. The private hospital admitted error in the prescription process, using an IV adrenaline injection instead of a spray. The nurse who administered the injection was a part-time employee. The boy’s family is seeking maximum compensation and he continues to suffer from partial body weakness.
