If you’re anything like us, you’ve been counting down the days until the latest installment of Netflix’s small-screen adaptation of The Witcher arrives on the streamer. Season 3 will be divided into two parts, extending our time with Henry Cavill as Geralt of Rivia. The decision to split the season was inspired by Stranger Things, allowing for a midseason cliffhanger and a more spread-out experience for fans. The upcoming season will feature dark times and looming threats for our beloved characters, but also moments of levity and happiness. The show’s producers faced the challenge of deciding what to keep, expand on, or diverge from the source material. Volume 1 of Season 3 premieres on June 29, with Volume 2 following on July 27.
