Thai AirAsia has set a goal to capture 40% of the domestic passenger market share in Thailand by the end of 2023. The airline plans to add two new routes in Japan next year, and its market share for the first half of this year has already increased to 37%. Thai AirAsia attributes this growth to strong performance on domestic routes, which have seen an average load factor of 94% on 32 routes. The airline has also confirmed that its ticket prices comply with regulatory rules. Thai AirAsia aims to gradually increase capacity on existing routes and increase its fleet to 54 jets by the end of 2022.
