Formation of the new cabinet in Thailand is nearing completion, with a full list of proposed cabinet ministers expected to be submitted to the King for approval next week, according to Sutin Klungsang, the chief whip and party-list MP for the Pheu Thai party. The party hopes to secure key ministries such as finance, public health and transport, but may have to give up others, including education and interior, to coalition partners. Speculation that the Pheu Thai party is in conflict with the leader of the Palang Pracharath, General Prawit Wongsuwan, has been dismissed.
