Taylor Sheridan is advancing the world of Tulsa King with his new Paramount+ series, Frisco King, set to begin filming in Fort Worth, Texas, on March 20. Initially planned for New Orleans, the production reflects a major shift in its setting. The series stars Samuel L. Jackson as Russell Lee Washington Jr., a hitman connected to Sylvester Stallone’s character in Tulsa King. Sheridan is personally writing all eight episodes, and notable cast members, including Asa Germann and Kai Caster, have joined the project. Sheridan, Jackson, and Stallone are also executive producers.
