Netflix is set to bring “Stranger Things: Tales From ’85” to theaters on April 18, offering a two-episode preview before its Netflix debut on April 23. Set in Hawkins, Indiana, the animated series takes place in 1985, following Mike, Eleven, and friends as they face a new threat in the winter woods. Screenings will happen in 34 AMC theaters at 12:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. local time, alongside special showings in New York and Philadelphia. Attendees will receive exclusive collectibles. The series, created by Eric Robles, is the first in a series of upcoming “Stranger Things” spin-offs.
