Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO of Meta, has expressed his desire to move on from the proposed fight with Elon Musk. In a note shared on Threads and Instagram Story, Zuckerberg stated that he doesn’t believe Musk is taking the fight seriously. He offered a real date for the fight and even suggested making it a charity event through Dana White, but Musk hasn’t confirmed a date and now wants to do a practice round in Zuckerberg’s backyard. Zuckerberg believes that if Musk is serious about the fight, he knows how to reach him. This statement comes after Musk announced that the fight would be managed by their foundations, rather than UFC, which Zuckerberg disagreed with. Musk also mentioned that the fight would be livestreamed on Twitter and Meta, with an ancient Rome-like setting. However, Italy’s culture minister clarified that the fight won’t be held in Rome despite his conversation with Musk.
