Netflix’s live-action show based on Assassin’s Creed has started production and will be set in Rome in 64AD. The series will focus on the war between the Templar Order and the Assassin Brotherhood, with a unique storyline. The ensemble cast includes Sandra Guldberg-Kampp, Youssef Kerkour, Mirren Mack, and Louis McCartney in recurring roles. The show is created and run by Roberto Patino and David Wiener, filming primarily at Rome’s Cinecittà Studios. This is not Netflix’s first adaptation of a Ubisoft property, following previous projects like Captain Laserhawk and Splinter Cell: Deathwatch.
