A psychiatric patient in Phatthalung, Nattawut, threatened a nurse with a knife at Srinakarin Hospital and forced her into a car before leaving her by the roadside. The patient, who showed symptoms linked to drug use, fled the scene and the nurse was found unharmed and brought back to the hospital. Police identified Nattawut but have not located him yet. Earlier, he had caused property damage and his mother sought help for him. In a separate incident, a mentally ill man in Nakhon Si Thammarat attacked a woman and her daughter with a knife.
